We are designing 3D printed building components for use on facades and as window elements by using wood flour – a waste product, and recycled glass for the production of long-lasting performance-based components. The façade and window elements we have designed, which approximate rigid curtains can affect their surroundings as they mediate the interior climate and reduce the need for expensive air conditioning and heating systems reducing our dependence on fossil fuels and subsequently the amount of greenhouse gasses that we produce.
